New digs

Today was a big day for the Barretts: We closed on our first house! We had the walk-through this morning at 8:30 am and then went to the title company to sign all the papers at 10 am. It felt like we signed 500 pages. Everything went smoothly and we got a key and beach passes. At the end, it was a little anticlimactic in the sense that we are renting back to the seller for a month, so although we own a house, we cannot actually go into it until a month from now. In the meantime, we are picking out colors for the nursery and our bedroom.
